The Pocomoke Forest on Maryland’s Eastern Shore is between the Chesapeake Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. It is an area that the artist has studied for many years but she also has explored forests in Alaska, West Virginia and Maine among other areas. Each has a special character and unique mix of flora and fauna.
